The Global Wind Organisation Basic Technical Training Standard consists of three modules and an additional installation module which can be taken after certification in the mechanical module. The GWO Basic Technical Training is divided into the following four modules: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics. Upon completion of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Technical Training (BTT), participants will possess an awareness of the hazards encountered when working on hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and installation systems, and how to control and mitigate these hazards, preparing candidates for working both on and offshore in the wind power industry.
